The news app Informed challenge me to propose them with a social media campaign branding for the up and comming launch campaign #hereforwhatmatters.

After thorough exploration into their brand some keywords that combined the purpose of the campaign with the brands value where brainstormed and analyzed.

These where the conclusions from the scope:

Visuals must be clear, using contrast to highlight bold or important parts of the campaign.

Visuals must be able to adapt to the different formats available of social media.

Visuals must stay true to the current brand identity but specific to social media campaigns.

Visuals must engage the audience and drive their attention to the link.

To get further insights into what direction I should lean towards for the design ideation, I did used the Dot Voting method to research which already created social media design elements where the most attractive to possible target users.

The resulting formula based on the combination of most chosen elements was x = Image + (Color Block + Frame)

Drawing inspiration from journalism / newspapers / magazines to follow the steps of the Informed brand I came up with the following visual assets for the campaigns strategy.

Taking into consideration the huge shift towards video content on social media platforms and the rise of tiktok, the 9:16 proportion was also taken into consideration for a wider scallability of the designs.
